They are dedicated to ensuring the security and integrity of their Operational Technology (OT) systems and are seeking a contract OT Systems Security Specialist to join the team and contribute to this critical mission.
This role is crucial in ensuring the robust security of the OT systems, including train control systems, real-time information systems, condition monitoring systems and telecommunications systems. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in OT Systems Security, including device hardening, software upgrades and access control protocols, along with a strong understanding of industry standards such as IEC 62443.
Key Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Operational Technology systems, including device hardening techniques;
- Proficiency in Juniper Firewalls and Cisco device configuration;
- Minimum CCNA certification;
- Experience configuring Radius / TACACS and AAA services;
- Familiarity with SolarWinds syslog, Splunk, password management and Cisco ISE; and
- Understanding of industry standards such as IEC 62443.
Responsibilities:
- Implement robust security measures for OT systems, including device hardening and software upgrades;
- Establish access control protocols to safeguard against unauthorised access to critical OT assets;
- Enable alerting and logging mechanisms to monitor the health and security of OT systems;
- Centralise authentication and authorisation processes for all OT systems to ensure compliance with industry standards; and
- Integrate IT equipment into the network management system for centralised monitoring and management.
