Our client, an expanding warehousing and distribution business, is seeking an outbound Team leader for their brand new Leppington site.
Rereporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 10 Warehouse staff, supervising all packing, checking, consigning, despatch and pallets.
This is a permanent full time role and includes parking onsite. Great opportunity to join a growing business with a positive, supportive culture.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure the performance of staff meets/exceed customer KPI's as determined by Warehouse Operations Manager's analysis of the customer service reports
Ensure all consignments are checked, booked with carriers, correctly labelled, loaded on correct vehicles and despatched in time to meet customer expectations.
Ensure pallet hire Outbound transfer documents are completed and up to date.
Train, mentor, coach and superivise team members
- Ensure WHS regulations are being adhered to
- Take responsibility for ensuring customer's service expectations, meet agreed KPI's for throughput, timeliness and accuracy.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
Minimum of 3 years warehouse operations, 12 months as a Team Leader
Minimum of 6 months experience working with RF scanners
Comfortable using Word, emails and a WMS system
Capable of leading Teams up to 10 staff
Capable at "on-the-job" training of casuals
Motivated by achieving best staff and customer performance.
