About the role: Peabody are currently seeking an experienced Outbye Electrical Coordinator to join our Centurion underground mine, Our Centurion mine is located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. For more information on Centurion visit (centurionmine.com.au) Reporting to the, Outbye Superintendent, you will be responsible for the development, planning and close out of all electrical maintenance activities to facilitate optimal performance of the outbye infrastructure systems to ensure all production and maintenance targets are safely executed on time and within budget. Duties will include: Lead a systematic approach in the identification and delivery of sustainable electrical maintenance processes and methods Effective leadership and development of the electrical maintenance crews to ensure the optimal performance of equipment and delivery of the mine plan. Manage engagement with OEM's and contractors Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across crews Ensure all statutory inspections and maintenance tooling/safety equipment is maintained and periodic calibrations/inspections are recorded Ensure underground equipment compliance aligns with site standards Assist with budget development and expenditure management via SAP maintenance/purchasing system Oversee and provide guidance in the execution of the weekly work and shutdown schedules to minimise any unscheduled work. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and all Peabody and Centurion site policies and procedures The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah) DIDO or FIFO lifestyle. Peabody Energy also offers the following: · Exceptional relocation benefits with a possible lump sum payment of one months salary · Employee assistance program available for yourself and immediate family · Novated vehicle leasing available · Health and lifestyle benefits (WHEREFIT). · Employee recognition program About you: Electrical trade qualification or engineering degree EEM competencies will be highly regarded Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in an underground coal mine Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to foster and maintain a positive safety culture Supervisor qualifications (S1, S2, S3 & G2) Strong leadership and ability to motivate a high performing team Proficient with a computerised maintenance management systems (SAP), MS Office suite Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Demonstrated problem solving skills and a "can do" attitude In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible attitude and sound work ethic.
