Grace Lutheran Primary School is a great little stand-alone primary school on the Redcliffe Peninsula.  We are well established school who opened our doors in 1971.  Our school is co-educational and is owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia (Queensland District).  We are open to persons who support the philosophy of the school, without discrimination as to class, race or belief.  

Engage, Educate, Excite drives everything that we do.  We are well known for our supportive caring community, strong development of literacy and numeracy skills, our sporting programs and competition, and our thriving performing arts opportunities.  We believe that little people can achieve great things.  We set our standards high and strive to develop independence, inquiry and initiative in our learners.  

Grace Primary has beautiful modern facilities and is a well established and resourced school of around 470 students (P-6).  We have a newly established Early Learning Centre onsite and have a strong relationship with Grace Creche & Kindergarten (Redcliffe) and Grace Lutheran College (Rothwell, Yrs 7-12).

About GOSHC (Grace Outside School Hours Care)

Grace Outside School Hours Care (GOSHC) provides a safe and caring environment for all children, families and staff within the community. GOSHC operates out of designated spaces with the Grace Lutheran Primary School site, and has access to a wide range of facilities within the school.

The service runs before school, after school and facilitates vacation care programs with lots of variety that makes everyday fun and joyful. 
 

About the Role

Due to growth in enrolments, the Outside School Hours Care at Grace Lutheran Primary School is seeking casual and permanent part time Educators for immediate start for before school, after school and/or vacation care. 

Successful applicants will become part of the well supported GOSHC (Grace Outside School Hours Care) team that provide care with student play and wellbeing at the heart.

Staff need to have an approved qualification or be studying towards an approved ACEQUA qualification.  These positions are ideal for university students who are studying to become primary school teachers

Actively supporting the Lutheran ethos of the school and striving to make care engaging and exciting for students is essential.
