Seeking a seasoned OSHC educator to join our esteemed team on a permanent basis, with the opportunity to serve as a Responsible Person when required. We require availability for four afternoons per week, totalling a minimum of 15 hours.
At Guardian Angels Outside School Hours Care we cater to the needs of up to 165 children, providing before and after school care as well as vacation care. We seek dedicated educators who are passionate about facilitating the growth and development of primary school-aged children in a safe and nurturing environment.
A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…
As an OSHC Educator, your responsibilities will include providing attentive care, maintaining a secure environment, crafting engaging recreational and educational activities, fostering positive relationships within the team, and ensuring optimal outcomes for children and families. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to participate in enjoyable excursions during vacation care. children in our care!
Job Requirements
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Diploma in children's services
- Effective workplace communication skills
