Working in the Community team at LifeFlight, you'll play a vital role in developing and managing the Community Education programs for LifeFlight through free courses such as First Minutes Matters trauma training and other initiatives.
This full-time, permanent position is situated in our Robina Office, conveniently placed near Robina Shopping Centre and public transport. You'll join a close-knit team of passionate professionals dedicated to supporting Queensland communities.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing strategies associated with our Community Education programs and events.
• Management of a small team of Regional Medical Educators.
• Manage the logistics of training events, including selecting appropriate locations, scheduling timings, and coordinating resources.
• Provide positive participant experience by supporting enrolments, providing program information and handling enquiries.
• Work with internal stakeholders regarding the advertising and promotion of training events to maximize community participation and awareness.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Community Education initiatives, providing reporting and making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Cultivate strong relationships with community stakeholders and partners to support ongoing collaboration and support for LifeFlight's community training initiatives.
• Where necessary, assume responsibility for delivering or assisting in the delivery of courses or programs
About You
With demonstrated previous experience leading and managing a team, you will also have the following skills and experience:
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in training and education or program development
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and address challenges as they arise.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach to building and maintaining relationships.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel to communities throughout Queensland
