The 2IC role

As a 2IC or Second in Charge, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care.  This will include:

• Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming)
• Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.
• Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible
• Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend.
• Play and have FUN with primary school aged children
• Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program
• Required Hours: 6:30am - 9:00am - 2:30pm - 6:30pm + 2 admin hours = 34.5hours per week. 

• You’re passionate about kids, have loads of energy and can just love to have fun!
• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude
• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written
• You are looking for stable, permanent part time hours 
• Experience in ELC or OOSH Background.
• Desirable: You are qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Education, Youth, Sports Science, Social Work, Health related, and many more.... check www.acecqa.gov.au for more information
