Kogarah Community Services is a vibrant and diverse community organisation operating for over 45 years delivering services across Aged Care, Community Engagement, and Children’s Services where we currently operate 2 independent Before and After School Care centres. Qualifications & experience
- 2 years experience working with children in a Before & After School Care setting
- A minimum Certificate IV in Children’s Services or School Aged Care
- HLTAID012 (Provide First Aid in an education and care setting) or willing to obtain
- HLTAID009 (Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation CPR) or willing to obtain
- HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) or willing to obtain
- Working with Children Check
- Accredited Child Protection Training
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsibility for the development, implementation and reflection of a high-quality program based on service values and philosophy in collaboration with the OSHC educators and management
- Inspire and mentor educators regarding the implementation of service pedagogy/program to ensure compliance of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Law & National Regulations, National Quality Standards and My Time Our Place
- Quality and professional management of staff and overall service delivery of the centre
- Commitment to ensuring a positive proactive team and environment is provided
- Commitment to ensuring an environment where children feel safe, and included
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators and stakeholders to deliver best outcomes for families and children
