Salary: $45-$50 per hour

Location: Sunshine, Derrimut

Licence/Certification: Driving License with own vehicle, C2 or C6 ticket Slewing Mobile Crane Licence (Mandatory)

Experience: Precast Min 2 years, Rigging Min 1 year (Mandatory)

Work Authorisation: permanent work rights with no restrictions Australia (Required)

Shift Schedule: 4am until 12.30pm Monday to Friday & 7am – 3pm Monday to Friday (weekly ongoing)

Work Location: In person client site.

About Client

We are seeking experienced skilled Overhead Crane (Slewing Gantry) Operator with structural steel and tilt panel experience for a Precast yard working off site within a warehouse in Melbourne's Northern suburbs. To join our esteemed client's team in Sunshine. These positions offer work with a top tier Industrial Construction Company in Melbourne and successful applicants can be given the opportunity for immediate starts with excellent hourly rates. BDK is looking for suitable candidates that are reliable, hardworking, flexible, and looking for long term work on going!

Applicants will be invited to a group interview for in-depth information about the positions and to assess the candidates' experience and skills.

• Suitable candidates will be called back for a private interview.
• Candidates who meet the required criteria will be scheduled for an induction and a paid trial day in the factory.

The responsibilities will include:

• Loading trucks with Precast concrete panels.
• Manoeuvring precast Panels around the yard.
• Moving materials around the yard and the gantry crane.
• Ladder work.
• Some labour duties
• Follow safe work procedures, adhering to company policies.

To apply for the position, you need to have at least ONE of the below:

· Slewing crane license

· Dogging certification

· Rigging certification

To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate your:

• Physical fitness and health to perform the job.
• Experience working with moving large items by crane.
• A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for transportation to the factory.
• Proficiency in calculating angles and surface areas.
• Knowledge of large leveling calculations and ensuring precise alignment.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
