Maternity Leave contract - approximately 15 months
Our client are a providers of accounting services to clients specifically in the Owners Corporation sector. Yes its very niche! We are on the hunt for someone who has solid experience within the Owners Corporation accounting space who can oversee a portfolio of clients providing key support within the Accounts team, while working with OC/Strata Managers Owners and Key stake holders.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to;
- Carrying out all processes for effective management of Owners Corporation Accounts
- Review and preparation of financial reporting
- Investigate and resolve financial reporting queries
- Complete end of financial year and EOM financial adjustments as required
- Provide support to Accounts Manager
- Assist the accountant with the preparation and lodgement of BAS
- Coordinate daily bank reconciliations
- Assist owners with queries via phone and email
- Assist Strata/OC manager with financial queries
- Owners Corp account experience is essential (not negotiable)
- Minimum Cert IV qualification in a relevant field (Accounting or Bookkeeping)
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve and think critically when identifying solutions
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work in the office at least 3 -4 days per week
