Education Manager for our

ABOUT THE ROLEAs an Education manager in
Plumbing and Safety Services, your key responsibilities include:
- Ensure accurate and up to date student attendance records within Markbook and ensure all student results and information are accurately recorded within Strata to maintain compliance with Regulator requirements, Institute Policies and Procedures
- Participate in and assist with Internal and External Audits, including the sourcing of information and documentation as required
- Coordinate and ensure Institute teaching materials and student resources are stored in accordance with Institute policies to enable collaboration and sharing across business areas within the Institute
- Lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clients
- Take all reasonably practical actions to facilitate a safe and healthy workplace for employees and a safe and healthy place of study for students and workplace participants, seeking expertise and advice from People, Culture and Safety as required and ensuring health and Safety policies are adhered to.
- Reflect on teaching experiences and identify how these can be best shared with new teachers to aid their development of more effective teaching and learning practices
- Encourage the new teacher to understand and use data to monitor student learning progress and actively engage with students and colleagues to improve teaching practice
ABOUT YOUYou are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.Qualifications required for the role:
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher or a commitment to undertake studies at this level
- Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required and industry currency
- Registration with professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
