The Opportunity
We seek an experienced Supervisor Municipal Services to work within the Technical Services Directorate and located at the Council Depot, the position supports the Manager Works in the operational planning and task execution for the Council Depot. Provides mentoring, supervision and coordination of Depot Municipal Services workgroups undertaking a range of work activities within the municipality.
Your responsibilities will be including but not limited to plan, co-ordinate, supervise, evaluate and report on the activities undertaken by the Depot Municipal services works teams including the Maintenance of Roads, Council Buildings/Facilities, Child Care Centres, Footpaths, Stormwater Pits and drainage works, demonstrate fiscal responsibility, provide technical advice to the Manager Works regarding project Management and resource planning for Council Assets and New Works, and ensure staff are operating in a safe working environment.

- Attractive salary of Level 5.1 (MO) $92,783.52 plus superannuation, which also attracts a 3% salary increase annually
- District allowance — $ 2611 w/dependents, $1498 w/o dependents on pro-rata basis.
- 6 weeks annual leave with additional generous leave entitlements (annual leave is paid at the employee’s ordinary hourly rate together with a leave loading of 17.5%.) + 3 weeks personal leave + long service leave
