Field Service Technician - Packaging Equipment
The Business:

- Permanent, Full time role with a base salary + overtime + fully maintained company vehicle + phone + tools of the trade.
The Role:
This is a secure, diversified role for someone with experience installing, commissioning and servicing Packaging Equipment.
- Permanent, full time role based in the Thomastown office and visiting client sites.
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm with rostered on-call and overtime opportunities.
- Set-up, commissioning and installation of Packaging Equipment.
- Travel to customers sites all over Melbourne & Victoria
- Train customers on the use of hardware and software products.
- Become proficient with the operation and technical aspects of new and existing hardware and software products, including industrial and retail weighing systems, food processing equipment, Packaging Equipment, as well as new and emerging technologies.
- Provide expert technical advice to employees and customers in relation to products and services.
- Broaden your skillset - be the recipient of training opportunities both in-house and on-field
The Successful Applicant Should Have:
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals & drawings.
- Experience with PLC Programming.
- Practical working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Electrical and Mechanical background/qualification.
- Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical/basic fitness test.
