Packing - Afternoon Shift

As a result, we are looking for experienced Packing Workers to join our production team based at our facility in Banyo. We are looking for people who work best in a hands-on role, enjoy working as part of a diverse team but have the capacity to also work autonomously.   We have the below shift available permanent full time Monday to Friday:

• Afternoon Shift – 3.44pm to 11.50pm

What will you be doing? 

Packing:

• Packing Lines - inspection and packing of finished meals into cartons
• Labelling of cartons - codes, dates, etc
• Control of outgoing products
• Rotation work in freezer (must be able to work in freezer for 1 hour per day)
• Cleaning of floors, walls, conveyors, machinery, etc
• Sanitizing of machinery and all food production equipment to the highest standard
• Deliver exceptional quality and results each shift

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Able to work in cooler environments – our factory is around 8 degrees Celsius 
• The ability to work under pressure and to strict time frames and quality standards
• Have a great eye for detail and take pride in your work and your team
• You enjoy doing repetitive work and like to know what your work is every day
• Whilst not essential previous experience in a 24 hour FMCG environment working as a cleaner would be advantageous.
