The Packing Assistant undertakes the day-to-day activities of the mailroom and dispatch area. They pick, pack and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner. They ensuring the accuracy of customer orders and stock held in the warehouse.
The Packing Assistant is required to work in a team environment that strives for excellence in customer satisfaction.
The duties of this position include:1. Picking, packing and dispatching orders.2. Generating consignment notes for parcels being dispatched via eParcel and couriers.3. Receiving, verifying, and acquitting incoming stores.4. Transferring inventory to internal customers and warehouses.5. Liaising with internal customers.6. Maintaining Epicor, the Mint’s computerised inventory system.7. Performing stock counts and assisting with the security and accuracy of the Mint’s inventory.8. Operating electric pallet jacks as required.
