Your Opportunity:
Queensland Paediatric Cardiac Service is the sole provider of tertiary paediatric cardiac services for Queensland. Approximately 250 cardiac catheterization procedures and 400 surgical procedures are performed each year. Each year over 7,000 patients are seen at Queensland Children Hospital outpatients and 2,000 patients are seen in outreach clinics. There are 250-300 materno-fetal medicine occasions of service each year.
The position of Paediatric Cardiologist will:
- Provide expert Paediatric Cardiology skills which complement the skillset of current team members to enhance and develop high quality care for children with acquired and congenital heart disease in Queensland
- Support the existing collaborative networks with regional HHS's
