This role offers a wide range of clinical experience, with the current caseload including assessment and treatment of children with attention difficulties, autism, coordination difficulties, learning difficulties, sensory processing and social/emotional difficulties.

About the role
We have a rare opportunity for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our wonderful Canterbury team!

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' functional abilities and identify areas for intervention,
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines,
- Keep up to date with current developments in Occupational Therapy and ensure these are reflected in service delivery,
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care,
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records,
- Provide education and support to clients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Recognised degree in occupational therapy,
- Registered or eligibility to register with AHPRA,
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates,
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention,
- Demonstrated experience using a client and family-centred approach,
- Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage with clients and their families,
- Working with Children Check and Police Check,
- Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle,
