You will be provided with an excellent mentoring program (rated 5 stars by previous new-grads!) which involves support, training and collaboration prior to seeing a new client + ample amount of time to prepare and de-brief + help from a therapy assistant + gradual build of caseload + more!
Our organisation:
Head 2 Toe Kids & Family Health is a Multidisciplinary clinic consisting of an experienced team of Allied Health Professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists & Psychologists. Our goal is to provide a holistic and overall, customer focused health service to children and their families, in the one facility.
In this role you will:
• Assess children with a range of communication delays/disorders (2 years- 18 years)
• Provide 1:1 Occupational Therapy intervention, including various assessments
• Be involved in group programs
• Liaise with our Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists
• Complete reports and daily notes
Essential Criteria- About you:
• Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) – or equivalent
• Current AHPRA membership (or soon to have)
• Your own mode of transport and driver’s license
• Experience working with children with Autism (or open to learn)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
