Movement Matters Therapy is looking for highly motivated, passionate and independent Physiotherapist and/or Exercise Physiologist, who enjoy being creative and thinking outside the box when delivering therapy interventions. Movement Matters Therapy is a mobile therapy service, working in natural environments, meaning you can see your client in their home, at school and/or in community settings, such as parks, beach, pool etc.)

The role:
- Assessments (including function, mobility, neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and general systemic function) for clients and participants with a wide range of disabilities and impairments.
- Assessment and prescription of appropriate mobility and functional equipment.
- Provide hydrotherapy/water-based therapy targeting the child’s individual goals and outcomes.
- Prepare and coordinate school and community-based programs to promote inclusion and increase the accessibility of physiotherapy and physical activity to the child or young person.
- Empower, upskill and build capacity of families and educators within the child’s natural environments to address their needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with staff from other agencies and medical practitioners to support family priorities and needs, which promote clear communication and effective partnerships.
- Provide evidence-based, individualised intervention specifically tailored to each individual’s needs and goals, ensuring best practice and person-centred care planning for clients and participants.
- Regular review and evaluation of client and participant interventions, treatment plans and goals and write yearly NDIS review reports accordingly.
- Provide correct documentation procedures involving individual assessments, person-centred plans, evaluations and progress notes.
- Ability to work independently.
Locations: Sydney: South-West Sydney, Sutherland Shire, St George LGA’s.

Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
- Current AHPRA or ESSA registration.
- Minimum 3 years Paediatric Experience (5 years+ is desirable).
- Currently hold your own ABN.
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (including CPR).
- Current public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Own car capable of driving too and from client sessions.
- NSW Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
