Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.Your Opportunity:The position of Paediatric Registrar (in the roleof Paediatric Advanced Trainee Fellow) will:
  • Provide the initial assessment of patients supervised and supported by one of 4 IMPS Consultants.
  • Have the opportunity to have your time accredited with the college as the position is accredited in Australia for 24 months of core ID training.
  • Deliver medical services through participation in clinical duties at Fellow level and in accordance with the policies, practices and Values of the Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
  • Demonstrate commitment to evidence-based practice, research and quality improvement activities, including undertaking clinical audits and clinical risk management activities.
  • Assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and the training of medical and allied health students.
