This position is currently undertaken at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and Queensland Children's Hospital in an established multidisciplinary team, allowing unique exposure to paediatric surgery and endocrinology not otherwise seen in obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) training. As such, the applicants to this role ideally should have:

Training in this super-specialty will allow Fellows of RANZCOG to be better placed to provide better care in this earlier age group cohort of our patients

This is important to achieve a level of increasing independence, sufficient experience, as well as teaching opportunities of the junior medical staff in a supported environment to help the transition to fellowship
  • Wish to complete the Advanced Training Modules (ATMs) in either the Generalist Obstetrics and/or Essential O&G skills ATM if already undertaking subspecialty training or the academic stream.
