PK Painting specialises in interior & exterior residential painting – with a particular focus on repaint, renovations and new builds.   With an healthy pipeline of work on the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Moreton Bay regions, we are requiring to grow our team to meet the high demand. 

What We’re Looking for

We’re currently looking for an experienced Painter to join our team. Your responsibilities will include, 

• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Internal and external painting of Retirement Village units & dwellings 
• Be equipped with your own tools.
• Assembling and disassembling of scaffolding
• An all-rounder – on job sites and in the office 
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Complete jobs to the allocated timeframe.

Skills and Experience

• Current valid driver’s licence.
• White Card.
• Police Clearance Check, less than 12 months old. 
• Minimum 3years experience in the painting field 
• Able to efficiently & effectively use; 
  • Outlook  
  • Excell & Word proficient 
  • Scheduling software – Build Xact 
  • Basic understanding of Myob or Xero (up to Certificate 4 in accounting preferred) 
• Experience with drafting & design preferred or proficient ability to read construction plans 
• Qualification in Painting and Decorating.
• Full unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Excellent phone & email communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• A good level of fitness to undertake work requirements.
• Must have strong Painting knowledge and experience.
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
