Job description

As an Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing a variety of surfaces and structures. Your role will involve working with different types of coatings and materials to ensure long-lasting and durable finishes.   • Surface Preparation: Clean, sandblast, and prepare surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.
  • Painting: Apply primers, intermediate, and finish coats using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment on manufactured products.
  • Quality Control: Inspect surfaces for paint defects, ensuring uniformity and adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Material Handling: Mix and match paint to achieve desired colours and consistencies.
  • Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring they are clean and properly stored.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and project timelines.
Profile
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Painter in a manufacturing or industrial setting prefered how
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various painting tools and equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of coatings, paints, and surface preparation techniques.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
