Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for driven workers to show off their steady hand and attention to detail skills in a 4-year Painting Apprenticeship.

Upon completion you will have gained industry experience, paid training, and study towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. 

Duties Include:

• Prepare surfaces (sanding, filing, caulking)
• Protect surfaces (varnish, stain, wallpaper)
• Paint a range of surfaces to a high standard 
• Colour match
• Interpret plans
• Maintain and decorate surfaces 

• High attention to detail
• Have good physical fitness to undertake manual labour
• Be committed, reliable and hardworking
• Display initiative, manage and prioritise time and tasks effectively
• Work effectively as part of a team and follow directions

• Must hold a provisional or full driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Be physically fit and healthy due to manual labour work
• Must pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol test
• Completed a Certificate II in Doorways to Construction or similar (desirable)
