Techni-Clean has proudly held the responsibility of caring for a range of Australia’s cultural and heritage assets, such as the Sydney Opera House, Queen Victoria Building, Art Gallery of NSW and various memorials. Recently, they have been involved in major light rail infrastructure developments in Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle.

About the Job

We are seeking the services of a full-time Painter or experienced Brush Hand and/or experienced Joint Caulker based in our Fyshwick operations.  This position is responsible to deliver our painting and protective coatings services. The position is not your traditional house painting duties. The position will focus on preparing, painting and protecting open space infrastructure assets, such as bus shelters, bridges, playgrounds, amenities, etc. The position is predominately carried out independently getting around the ACT in a company vehicle with full equipment set up.

Complete training and education of all systems will be provided. Attractive remuneration commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications 

  • WHS White Card
  • Drivers License (C Class)
  • Asbestos Awareness Card/Silica Awareness Certificate
  • ACT Working With Vulnerable People Check

Experience 

  • Minimum 18 months experience
  • Prepare and install paints and coatings
  • Experience in Joint Sealing/Caulking (optional)
  • Operate small machines - Pressure washer, airless spray, etc
  • Site setup and small team work
  • Participate in a mix of day and night works
