Job DescriptionOur Chief Engineer Ron is in the hunt for a skilled painter to enhance the ambience of our hotel with precision and flair!
Some of your duties will include:- Prepare, paint & maintain building structures and hotel facilities
- Use techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns.
- Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained and in good working order
- Ensure deadlines are met and record all tasks performed, both complete and incomplete
- Ensure safe manual handling techniques and safe work habits are practiced
Qualifications- Knowledge of paint, varnish, stain, enamels, lacquers, wall coverings, masonry work and other related products.
- Knowledge on the application and mixing procedures of such products.
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools
- Previous experience working in hotel setting is desirable (not mandatory)
