Form of workWorkfast are looking for experienced Painters/Blasters for a company specialising in design-to-delivery solution for their clients across heavy steel fabrication, construction and maintenance services, mining equipment, protective coatings and transport.
Our client has been recently awarded a number of projects around the Newcastle area.
Key Responsibilities:
• General painting/blasting tasks
• Assisting other trades
• Prepare surfaces and apply various finishes
• Perform minor repair works on surfaces for flawless finishes.
• Willingness to tackle additional tasks, including general labouring and team- based projects.
• Flexibility to adapt to various job requirements within the scope of our projects.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Painter/Blaster
• Spray gun experience, with own blast helmet and respirator
• Enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lead, collaborate within a team, and contribute to a positive working environment.
• Hold a Working at Heights, EWP and White Card
What We Offer:
• Ability to commence 14th of March
• $50 per hour + penalties
• Supportive and collaborative team environment.
