Rendosi Construction is seeking a full-time experiencedPainting Trades Person – HOUSE PAINTER – to join their dedicated andprofessional team.
Job Location: Sydney
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Beable to understand and complete works to specifications.
- Beable to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
- Selectpaints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, androllers.
- Understandthe use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry filmthickness.
- Beable to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishesto protect, maintain and decorate surfaces of buildings and structures.
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing dropsheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
- Preparing surfaces by removing old paint andwallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealingsurfaces
- Selecting and preparing paints to required coloursby mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
- Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfacesusing brushes, rollers and sprays
- Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimmingedges
- Cleaning equipment and work areas
- May repair windows and replace glass in wooden andmetal frames
- May lay and repair wall and floor tiles
