Looking for an experienced Panel Beater in Hobart!
Your new company
Our client is a reputable auto repair shop and expanding their business in smash repairs as well.
Your new role
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Vehicle Assessment: You will perform vehicle assessments to identify damage and devise restorative strategies
- Repairs to the Vehicle Body: You will repair vehicle bodies, which includes repairing minor defects with a complete body overhaul, often using many tools, machinery, and configuration skills to restore the vehicle to its pre-accident state.
- Replacement of Damaged Parts: If the vehicle parts are beyond repair, you will be responsible for sourcing and replacing these vehicle parts. Ensuring that the replaced parts match the vehicle's specifications is important.
- Straightening and Aligning Car Frames and Unibodies. You will work on straightening and aligning car frames and unibodies. This is crucial to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
- Refinishing and Repainting: After the repair and replacement work, you will also carry out refinishing and repainting.
What you'll need to succeed
A positive attitude and excellent communications skills will be key in this role. You will also need:
- Experienced and Qualified Panel Beater (Essential)
- Strong commitment to working safely.
- High attention to detail.
