   Your Role  The purpose of the role is to conduct the Proper Officer function and provide paralegal support to the IAG Legal and Company Secretariat Team. The Proper Officer’s role is to ensure each IAG company complies with the subpoenas, notices and court orders served on it. You will assist in the following tasks: Manage the end-to-end process in relation to subpoenas, statements of claim and the like served on IAG companies; Liaise with internal departments, external legal providers and relevant third parties including courts, tribunals, regulators, government agencies and external law firms as required; Monitor, assist and advise on contentious and complex issues arising from subpoenas, notices and court orders, with supervision.

You will also provide paralegal assistance including in relation to electronic document execution and trademark registration process. Finally, you will provide support for risk management activities across the division. About

You  You will have strong academic results and be undertaking your Juris Doctor or Combined Law studies (minimum third year). You must be organised, resourceful, pick things up quickly, have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team. Attention to detail, the ability to distil information from multiple sources, reliability, and the ability to work systematically are vital.
