Our client is an innovative and centrally located financial services practice which services a portfolio of professional clients who take long term views with financial planning.
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanning Manager to join this mid tier, blue-chip financial services firm.
The role of Paraplanning Manager takes responsibility for leadership and management of the paraplanning team and supporting administration group. Further, the position interfaces with the practice's Financial Advisers to ensure accuracy of SoAs and adherence with compliance procedures.
The position has true management responsibility in that it includes mentoring, staff performance reviews, quality assurance and team productivity and reports to the CEO.
The successful Paraplanning Manager will require experience and qualifications relevant to the financial services sector;
- A minimum seven years in financial services
- Financial planning qualifications or accounting degree
- Comprehensive knowledge of the structure of Statements of Advice
- Experience in team leadership or operational management
- A deep understanding of superannuation and SMSF
- An understanding of investment and diversification strategies
- The role of personal risk cover in financial planning
- An understanding of compliance frameworks
- Competency in using X-plan or similar financial systems
Importantly, you will also be comfortable in communication at management and executive level and exude a professional approach.
The firm's profile of professional level clients results in advice well beyond that which is common in standard retail settings. The practice's professional development edict therefore runs in tandem with the expectations of its clients.
Should you have the foundation qualifications and experience and wish to step up to team management responsibility in a blue chip practice, we would encourage your expression of interest. Please apply via Seek or contact Geoffrey Harris CA for more details. *******@harc.net.au 0408 905 ***
