With a recent internal transfer we are looking for a
General Practitioner who interested in working at a busy practice and can focus on chronic disease management. Ochre Medical Centre Parkes is a large medical centre, which was established over 50 years ago. This practice has allied/specialist health rooms, on-site pathology and a three-way treatment room for minor procedures.
In addition, our nursing team is available for immunisations, vaccinations, BP monitoring, INR monitoring, ECG’s, health assessments & chronic disease management. There are further opportunities to contribute to the VMO services at Parkes hospital, if desired. You will be well supported by working with experienced GPs VMO, nurses and allied health specialists.
The hospital on-call shifts are from 8am to 6pm with night shifts available; with a steady flow of presentations averaging 30 to 35 per day. In addition, we offer practitioners opportunities to be involved in medical education, research & professional development, and provide all the support you need.
