As a Disability Support Worker, your role will involve:
- Providing support to clients in their homes
- Follow procedures including the collation of data and record maintenance.
- Regularly review plans ensuring transparency of client circumstances, needs and supports.
- Ability to work with complex behaviors
Duties:
- Providing assistance and support to improve daily living
- Assist with daily domestic tasks
- Assist with meal preparation
- Providing support to develop independence skills
- Assisting with accessing community for appointments, outings and leisure
- Assisting to build capacity with transportation, personal care and social interactions
Requirements include:
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working With Children Blue card
- Drivers Licence
- Own Car with Comprehensive Insurance
- Ability to work within a team with a positive attitude
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Desirable:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (working towards, or an interest in completing this)
