The key responsibilities of the Parks and Garden Officer (Band 2) will include: Cleaning and maintaining Council’s public facilities (Toilets, BBQ’s and Bins) to provide a neat and positive image of public amenity areas and a high standard of hygiene. Cleaning and maintaining parks, streetscapes, playgrounds and formal gardens, to provide attractive and enjoyable recreational spaces for the community and visitors. Operating and maintaining various items of small plant and equipment such as mowers, brush-cutters and chainsaws, to achieve appointed maintenance tasks.
