Our professional and busy WFH Ermington family is seeking a reliable, flexible, and understanding Housekeeping Nanny who prioritises the family’s needs, loves children, enjoys engaging with babies, is proficient in cooking nutritious meals, and is respectful of household routines.
The ideal candidate will have a positive and respectful demeanour, accommodate the family’s need to greet the newborn as a second child within reason, and be comfortable communicating in English to aid language development. A gentle and proactive working demeanour is preferred, considering the household’s quiet environment due to parents working or studying from home.
The routine involves tidying the living and dining spaces, handling dishwasher duties, and managing laundry in the morning. At noon, the nanny will look after the baby while the mum has lunch and studies. In the afternoon, a quick grocery run to Woolworths (a 4-minute drive) is required to prepare a family meal and cook dinner afterwards.
The successful candidate will enjoy a comfortable home environment, flexibility, and open communication.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Building a strong relationship with the family
• Being proactive with household chores
• Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for the family
• Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
• Undertaking additional/occasional duties when requested
• Supporting occasional WFH Parents
• Maintaining/learning all aspects of the family’s routine

• A non-smoker with no offensive habits
• A minimum of 2+ years’ experience working with children
• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as a housekeeper
• A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
• Current National Criminal Record Check
• Excellent communication skills
