Our outdoor and easygoing Kirribilli-based first-time parents are greeting their first child in March. Both parents are working from home and need a helper with housekeeping to alleviate some stress as first-time parents and be able to focus on the baby’s well-being. They are in search of a reliable, adaptable, neat, logical, and proactive Housekeeping Nanny with attention to detail when cleaning. It is essential that the nanny has experience working with work-from-home (WFH) parents, understands the family’s needs, brings some personality, and is willing to interact with the family, with expertise in household duties and cooking skills. Additionally, the nanny would be flexible in adjusting duties depending on the circumstances and comfortable assisting the mother with childcare or the baby when needed.
The nanny will primarily focus on household duties and preparing and cooking healthy, whole-food meals. The nanny’s responsibilities include household chores such as tidying, light cleaning, laundry, ironing, folding, etc., as well as maintaining overall cleanliness around the house and cooking meals for the family. The suitable candidate will receive entitlements such as sick leave and holiday benefits alongside employment.
The successful nanny will receive a safe environment, open communication, support, trust, and flexibility in working hours, as long as the tasks are completed. The family will treat the candidate like one of the family regarding days and times with the family.
Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:• Building a strong relationship with the family• Being proactive with household chores• Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for the family• Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment• Undertaking additional/occasional duties when requested• Supporting stay-at-home Mum and WFH Dad• Maintaining/learning all aspects of the family’s routine
