A very well known charity with a national volunteer network requires a Part Time Accountant to join their team in Western Sydney
Your new role
Providing Financial Accounting support to the General Manager, your key duties will include:
- Month end close and reporting
- Cashflow reporting
- BAS, payroll tax, super and FBT lodgments
- General bookkeeping to balance sheet level
- Oversee and support Finance Officer responsible for transaction processing
- Process a small payroll
- Using MYOB
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience as a company accountant or allround financial accounting background would be ideal
- Previous not for profit experience a bonus although not essential
- Able to work independently and provide regular financial updates to General Manager
- Good systems skills using cloud based technology
- Happy to be involved at transaction level through to month end reporting, to support a small committed team
