Part Time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Bookkeeping business. You will be responsible for providing support to clients with routine bookkeeping duties, with special attention to BAS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general ledgers, major account reconciliations, journal entry postings, and creating financial quality reports.

Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner

Manage general ledgers and major account reconciliations

Create financial quality reports

Post journal entries

Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proven bookkeeping experience

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

Experience with accounting software both MYOB and Xero

Strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and at home opportunity
