Due to the continued growth of our company, an exciting and very rare opportunity exists for a highly driven, experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our Car Buying / Valuing Team to assist with the continued growth of our Used Car Operations.
Working alongside our Used Car Manager and Current Buyer the successful applicant will be self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed set targets while keeping accountability over the stock they purchase.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and source potential vehicles for purchase through various channels, including auctions, private sellers, and dealerships.
- Research market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and profitable vehicle acquisitions.
- Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of vehicles to ensure quality and condition meet our standards.
- Coordinate vehicle transport and logistics to ensure timely delivery to our dealership.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicle purchases, including purchase prices, seller information, and vehicle history.
Requirements Include:
- Proven experience in vehicle purchasing or a similar role within the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of different vehicle makes, models, and market trends.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to assess vehicle condition and value accurately.
- Valid driver's license
