Located in a brand new clinic in the heart of New Farm, Physio on Brunswick is a multi-disciplinary clinic, well established in the local community with a large, experienced team offering services beyond just physiotherapy. We are currently seeking a part time / casual receptionists to join our team and provide outstanding customer service to our clients. We pride ourselves in our high quality, patient-focused environment with a welcoming, friendly team for you to join.
About the position:
- You are required to be flexible to work around current hours of fellow admin staff, to cover sick and annual leave.
- Our opening hours are 7 am and 7 pm Monday to Friday. Saturdays 8.30 am – 12.30 pm
- Starting shifts will be flexible and can include any times that we are open.
- Duties are in line with administrative support in a health and medical role.
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the clinic
- Answering and managing two phone lines
- Using our diary system – Cliniko
- Making bookings, handling enquires and providing informed information
- Cash handling and use of Hicaps and credit card machine
- Opening / closing of the clinic
- General housekeeping
- General administrative support for other staff and therapists
- General administration – scanning, data entry, record keeping
- Use of Social Media to market / promote clinic events and information
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, work
- Working with DVA, WorkCover, InjuryNet and CTP insurers
- Remuneration based on experience in accordance with award rate standards
Requirements:
- Experience in allied health administration and an interest in health and well being
- Experience in the use of Social media use for business is an advantage
- Pro active attitude
- Ability to multi task
- Must have excellent communication skills to communicate in house and with other health care professionals, via email and phone
- Experience with Cliniko is an advantage
- Flexibility to work within the above hours and cover sick and annual leave
- Professional, polite phone manner
- Warm, friendly manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Ability to work under pressure and fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of service
