The role of Receptionist is to support our fast paced reception desk which services 9 consulting doctors.
We are seeking a mature minded person with previous Medical Reception experience who can hit the ground running. The ability to work quickly and efficiently is a must for this position. Initial job specific training will be offered. The employee that we seek must be willing to complete basic office tasks such as, but not limited to:
Reception
Filing
Preparation of daily consulting lists
Topping up stationery supplies
Copying and scanning
Preparation and handling of incoming and outgoing mail
Handling phone calls
Data entry
Open/close business
Daily banking
This position is offered on a casual basis and we are looking for someone who is flexible with working hours and days and who would be willing to work extra days, on occasion, to cover staff leave. Conversion to permanent part time would be considered for the right applicant after probationary period.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
Previous administration/reception experience in the medical industry
Flexibility with work hours
Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office
Strong work ethic
Self motivation
Good organisational skills
Ability to multi task
Remuneration is based on Health Professions Support Services Award 2010 and will be negotiated dependent on the skills that you can bring to our team.
