Our Family
We are a family of 4 - a Pre-Primary aged girl, and a 7-year old little boy. My husband and I both work full-time, with semi-flexible hours and we are looking for someone to help us with school mornings/drop off and after school pick-up. We have 2 small dogs that don’t shed and are lovely and very low maintenance. We have had a beautiful nanny for over 7 years that become part of our family, but she is moving on to bigger things. We don’t have much family help in the area and we would rather not put the kids in before/after school care if possible. They are lovely, smart and independent and they are excited to have someone new in their lives! We are kind and loyal people and will treat you with love and respect, which we would, of course, expect in return.
Your Duties
A driver’s license and the ability to be to our house in the mornings by 0700. Get the kids ready for school, pack their lunch and take them to school. I would be happy for you to do more (cleaning, shopping on occasion, if you’d like), but that is not a requirement. Basically we need help! We have jobs that require some early mornings and late nights on short notice, but are willing to discuss and negotiate times and a schedule to fit the suitable candidate. The safety and well-being of the kids is the most important thing to us and we will not compromise that. We want whoever takes the responsibility to be loyal and respectful of our time, our children and our home.
Our Perfect Caregiver
A mature and responsible person with a little flexibility, who can come to our home in the mornings and get the kids ready and off to school, at least a few days a week, and also help with picking them up and settling them after school. We want someone who will treat our home and our children with love and respect. We wouldn’t say no to the occasional meal or house cleaning, but that is not a deal breaker. We are a family that has pride in what we do and we want our children to be proud of their working parents, without sacrificing some of their simple pleasures … like having breakfast at home in theirs pyjamas instead of rushing off to before school care. The occasional date night, would be lovely as well.
