The Opportunity
Fabulous opportunity for an Enrolled Endorsed Nurse or Registered Nurse interested in dermatology to assist in medical dermatology and laser services and procedures within a highly reputable Dermatology practice located at Broadway.
The Practice
The practice offers a full range of medical and cosmetic dermatology services by the 2 Dermatologists. Previous Dermatology nursing experience preferable but not essential.
It is a paperless practice and the medical software used is Genie.
Located not far from Broadway Shopping Centre, Central station and buses making it an ideal location to travel to by public transport.
The Role
The main objective of the role is to assist the dermatologists with medical procedures and laser. The role will involve assisting with skin biopsies, excisions and skin treatments. The opportunity to learn multiple nurse-led procedures exists for the right candidate.
The position is a permanent PART TIME role 3-4 days per week with opportunity of increasing. The hourly rate is negotiable and depends upon candidate's previous skills and experience.
Skills and Knowledge
- EEN or Registered Nurse
- Australian citizen, permanent resident.
- Current registration with APHRA, working with children check and police check.
- Be confident in learning and prescribing skincare and nurse led cosmetic procedures.
- Passionate about providing a high standard of safety and quality patient care
- Committed to ongoing professional development
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, practitioners and health care professionals
- Warm, compassionate and caring nature
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team, to influence and enhance clinical practice
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Email, Word and database applications)
