Part-Time Residential Concierge

Sydney Building Management & Projects provides facilities management services to the greater Sydney area. 

We are hiring a permanent part-time Concierge role for one of our high-end apartment buildings in St Leonards, right in the heart of the St Leonards CBD.

Hours are 3:00pm to 7.00pm Monday to Friday. No weekend work! 
Potential for additional shifts across our wider Concierge portfolio.

Your exceptional presentation and customer service skills will see you succeed in this role. You will understand what is required to be a concierge who exceeds expectations in presentation, communication and resident assistance. 

Great entry-level stepping stone for anyone interested in Facilities or Building Management.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working at a high-end residential apartment building where privacy, security and discretion is important. Working at the concierge desk you will be the face of the building greeting residents and guests, and providing assistance where required.

You will be working closely with the Building Management team, assisting in the supervision of building contractors, ensuring compliance and site procedures are followed. You will carry out patrols of the building to ensure it is secure, is clean and tidy, and maintained to the highest standard, supervising contractors where required.

Must Have's

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills both written and verbally;
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn various systems; and
• Previous face-to-face customer service experience.

Permanent Part-time role - 20 hours a week.

Hourly rate of $27.83 + Super + penalties. 

• Training and ongoing development will be provided.
• Would suit an experienced concierge, recent graduate or Uni student of high calibre or person with experience in the hospitality industry looking for a change.
