As our company grows, we're seeking a passionate and highly organized individual to join us as a Part-Time Roster & Administration role.

About the role:

You will support the Rostering Team in the creation and monitoring of rosters to effectively meet service agreements, operational requirements, support needs and preferences of Disability Support Workers. 

As the rostering officer you will:

  • Allocate shifts and match support workers to meet individual support needs and requirements
  • Deliver best practice scheduling in preparing long term rosters for participants and support workers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Action and document phone calls and/or communication relating to scheduling, including but not limited to sick calls, rostering issues, change requests and participant enquiries
  • Allocate staff resources effectively, in relation to teams, shift swaps, leave, and training
  • Ensure hours worked by employees are monitored to ensure employees are working within any industrial relation obligations
  • Work in conjunction with Finance to ensure timesheets are completed in a timely and accurate manner

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar high-volume staff rostering and scheduling role
  • Previous experience in the utilisation of rostering software systems 
  • Outstanding time management and a strong ability to multi-task
  • Competent in Microsoft Office skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility & the ability to adapt to change
  • NDIS Workers Screening
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a comprehensive insured vehicle 
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain)
