Opera Queensland is seeking a Partnerships Manager to grow revenue and oversee delivery of a suite of bespoke partner programs and engagement events.
This exciting role supports the organisation by identifying and stewarding prospective corporate partners, enriching relationships with current partners and growing the sponsorship portfolio. The Partnerships Manager is client facing and will understand the importance of accessing industry events in Brisbane to help build prospective corporate partnership pipelines.

About You
- A minimum five years of experience working in a sponsorship role.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills with a mature and professional approach.
- Demonstrated experience delivering events within a sponsorship portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and steward prospective sponsors from approach and proposal through the stage of executed contract and delivered benefits.
- A confident and authentic approach to engaging with corporate partners and taking them on the journey to long term partnerships.
- Proven ability to write professional and mature communications related to sponsorship.
- Experience in event management and experiential leverage desirable.
Travel and Outside Office Hours Work
- Due to the nature of the organisation, it is a requirement of the position to attend and/or support events, productions, rehearsals and other business activities outside of normal office hours.
