McIntosh & Son, Merredin are seeking a Parts Interpreter to join the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated person with an eye for detail, who is friendly, systematic and driven by achieving results to support our fast-paced environment.
If you have experience in customer service, or similar and want to learn parts interpreting then we can offer training through a traineeship.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive customer relationships
- Analyse existing/potential customer parts needs
- Provide accurate information and advice to customers and internal staff
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Assist with merchandising displays
- Participate in stocktakes
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Seasonal Saturdays & on-call roster
About you:
- Ability to work seasonal Saturdays and outside normal hours during peak seasons
- A supportive team player with a can-do attitude
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
- Proven ability to build professional relationships with clients and seek new parts sales opportunities
- Proficient in parts merchandising, selling techniques and parts ordering software is desired but not required for trainee
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
- Ability to interpret a technical diagram is desired
- While familiarity with agricultural machinery or a similar role is desirable, a fast learner with enthusiasm for teamwork and customer satisfaction will be looked upon favourably.
