We have an excellent opportunity available for a Parts Interpreter/Store Person to join our Geraldton Branch.
Reporting to the Parts Supervisor in Geraldton, the Parts/Storeperson is responsible for utilising expert technical and Caterpillar/Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) systems knowledge to interpret and problem solve technical customer queries.
Accountable for receiving customer orders for Caterpillar parts and/or general enquiries via phone, email and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processing for continued customer loyalty and the utilisation of WesTrac as the preferred supplier of Caterpillar parts.
You will also be required to assist with picking and despatching parts orders, daily counting and recording of stock items, receival of stock transfers and back order transfers. Assisting with hose manufacture from time to time will be required (training provided). Due to the nature of the role the successful applicant will be required to take part in the afterhours On Call roster.

• 5 days on, 2 days off and rostered 1/2 day Saturday, 10 hours per shift
Location : WeaTrac Geraldton
Essential Criteria:
• High-level Customer Service skills, with a minimum 3 years' experience within a similar customer service role within the Heavy Equipment industry.
• Pro-active problem solving skills with the ability to ask the right questions to understand and resolve problems.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated data entry experience.
• Solid Communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
Desirable:
• Forklift Ticket
• A demonstrated understanding of Caterpillar equipment and parts
