About the role
We are seeking a part time Collector to join our dedicated team within Adelaide Regional /Clare. These positions will suit self-motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Specific duties include;
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
- Attending to the care, storage, and processing of pathology specimens.
- Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
Skills and experience;
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Sound clinical knowledge.
- A current Driver's License.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
- Computer skills.
- Rights to work in Australia.
