About the role

Australian Clinical Labs has newly become a publicly listed organisation with strong growth aspirations, this is a place for someone who wants to help us in transitioning to a market leader.  We currently have vacancies for permanent Part Time and CasualPathology Collectors to join our Adelaide Metro team.

These positions will suit self-motivated experienced individuals wanting to work within a Collection Centre, domiciliary setting or hospital, who can demonstrate an attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.

Specific duties include;

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients
• Collection of Covid and Respiratory Swabs
• Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens
• Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.

Skills and experience;

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience 
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone
• Exceptional time management skills
• Flexible to work across different sites.
• Sound clinical knowledge.
• A valid Driver's License
• Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team referring, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
• Basic computer skills
• Right to work in Australia
